It appears Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made the right decision when he recently made Jaylen Warren the team's starting running back.
At the start of the third quarter against the Cleveland Browns, the second-year running back out of Oklahoma State ran for a 74-yard TD, helping the Steelers cut the Cleveland lead to 10-7. Through three quarters, Warren had 101 rushing yards on five carries.

Steelers running back Najee Harris is solid but lacks big-play ability. Entering Week 11, the former first-round pick had rushed for 464 yards and three TDs on 116 rushing attempts. Warren, meanwhile, had 364 yards and two TDs on 71 attempts.
The Pittsburgh offense needs more explosive plays. It ranks 29th in the NFL in yards (180.3) and 26th in points scored (17.3).
Although they're 6-3, the Steelers have been outgained in every game this season. This trend cannot continue, so it's good for the Steelers that Warren is stepping up.
