Former UCLA wide receiver Jake Bobo failed to impress pro teams with a poor combine showing and went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft.

A 4.99 40-yard dash made all 32 teams overlook the former Bruins receiver, but the Seahawks took a chance on him for their preseason roster.

Bobo paid off said faith with a great showing in Seattle's three exhibition games, and he made the 53-man roster as a reserve for their wideout room.

What Bobo lacks in speed, he makes up for in tenacity and grit, fully on display during the team's Week 6 game against Cincinnati.

Two Bengals sandwiched Bobo near the 10-yard line, but he wound up holding onto the football after he took the shot on Seattle's first drive of the third quarter.

Red zone offense ultimately doomed Seattle to a loss after they failed to capitalize on numerous opportunities throughout the game.

Kenneth Walker managed the team's only touchdown, which came back in the first quarter.

Cincinnati's defense eventually clamped down and got an impressive win against a 3-1 team after multiple fourth-down stops in the final quarter of action.

None of that was Bobo's fault, as he caught both of his targets on the afternoon before Geno Smith failed to get the job done late in the game.

Bobo's role as a reserve on one of the NFC's best teams is secured, and he even has a touchdown to his name early into his NFL career.

His next opportunity comes against the Arizona Cardinals, where his quarterback will look for him once again.
