The Miami Dolphins have already had a massive offseason, bringing in new head coach Mike McDaniel and All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill, as well as re-upping All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard with a historic contract extension. Last week, the team made headlines when they worked out former first-round pick Reuben Foster on Friday.
The Dolphins are reportedly hosting another well-known pass-rusher for a visit on Tuesday.
Interesting free agent visit for the #Dolphins: Former #Chiefs pass-rusher Melvin Ingram is visiting today, per me and @TomPelissero. He came on strong last year in KC, now a potential addition in Miami.

Ingram was selected 18th overall by the San Diego Chargers in the 2012 NFL Draft and played his first nine seasons with the organization. Ingram recorded 360 tackles, 49.0 sacks, 18 passes defended and 14 forced fumbles over 113 regular-season games with the Chargers and earned three straight Pro Bowl nods from 2017 to 2019.
The 32-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Steelers in July 2021 before being dealt to the Chiefs in November of last year. Ingram finished last season with 25 tackles, 11 quarterback hits and 2.0 sacks in his 15 regular-season games split between Pittsburgh and Kansas City, before adding five tackles and 2.0 sacks in the Chiefs three playoff games.
