This team is the new favorite in the latest Super Bowl odds

After a whirlwind weekend, the 2022 NFL regular season came to a close on Sunday -- but not without major sportsbooks picking a new favorite to win the Super Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills have been the de facto favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the better part of the season. But despite narrowly defeating the New England Patriots in Week 18, Josh Allen and company have been dethroned.

Now, according to Bet MGM and other major books, the Kansas City Chiefs have moved up to be the new favorite to win the Super Bowl this season, currently sitting at +350.

The Bills are still in a close second at +400 odds to win it all, with the Philadelphia Eagles (+500), San Francisco 49ers (+550), and the Cincinnati Bengals (+750) right on their heels.

The Chiefs will sit tight over Wild Card weekend having clinched the AFC title, while the rest of the favorites in the Super Bowl betting odds duke it out over Wild Card weekend, which kicks off on Saturday when the 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks.
