Steelers RB has fine rescinded by NFL
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (30) Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

There is good news for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren.

Warren has been fined twice this season by the NFL for lowering his helmet to initiate contact. He was initially fined $48,333 for lowering his head in a Week 2 game, but that fine was reduced to $39,000.

Then Warren was fined $48,556 for lowering his head to block a defender in a Week 7 game against the Rams.

According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, Warren appealed the Week 7 fine and the league rescinded it.

This is not insignificant for Warren. The undrafted running back is making $870,000 this season. The fine he had rescinded represents 5.5 percent of his scheduled earnings for the year — no small amount.

Warren has 612 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season. He also has 42 catches for 272 yards.
