Ravens have expressed interest in signing former Browns WR Jarvis Landry

According to Brad Stainbrook of the Orange and Brown Report, the Baltimore Ravens have shown interest in signing former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

In March, the Browns released Landry after the team acquired former Dallas Cowboys wideout Amari Cooper. After trading for Cooper, Cleveland reportedly granted Landry an opportunity to seek a trade, but a deal with another NFL team never materialized.

In March, a report suggested that the Browns were working on re-signing Landry after restructuring Cooper's contract to free up $15 million in cap space. However, the door seems closed on a return to Cleveland for Landry after the Browns drafted two wide receivers in the 2022 Draft. The Browns drafted Purdue's David Bell in the third round and chose Oklahoma wideout Michael Woods II in the sixth round.

The 29-year-old Landry has been linked to several teams, including the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons, who had Landry for a visit last month

A five-time Pro Bowler, Landry signed a five-year, $75.5 million contract with the Browns in 2018; Cleveland still owes Landry a $1.5 million signing bonus payout for 2022.

Last season, Landry started 12 games for the Browns, finishing with career lows in receptions (52), yards (570) and touchdowns (2).

In four seasons in Cleveland, Landry compiled 288 catches for 3,560 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 12.4 yards per catch in 59 games.
