Raiders player gets poached by division rival
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders have already stolen a player from their division rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, once this year, and now the Chiefs stole him back. In this case, it was easily a "poached" player.

A day after the Raiders lost on Monday Night Football against the Detroit Lions is when the Chiefs could claim players off of other practice squads, or a y team for that matter. In this scenario, it was the Chiefs claiming a player off of the Raiders practice squad.

Darius Harris, a linebacker on the Raiders practice squad, was formerly on the Chiefs and actually started some games a year ago when their then-starting linebacker Willie Gay Jr. was out with a suspension. Harris was fantastic. The Raiders signed him to their practice squad this season.

He has been on the Raiders two separate times, but now, he is back on the Chiefs. On Tuesday, news showed that Harris and the Chiefs would reunite after the Chiefs tried to go after former linebacker Ben Nieman, but that would fail to the Denver Broncos.

Harris almost had a real opportunity to play, too, as Divine Deablo was out, and Luke Masterson and Curtis Bolton had been dealing with injuries. Not to mention, Amari Burney had yet to play until Monday night.

The Chiefs really stole a player from the Raiders who had the potential to play.
