Lions sign first-round pick Jameson Williams to contract

The Detroit Lions have locked in both of their first-round draft picks just two weeks after making their selections, inking wide receiver Jameson Williams to a four-year deal on Thursday.

The #Lions and first-round WR Jameson Williams have agreed to terms on his four-year, fully guaranteed deal, source said. As always, it includes a fifth-year club option. Both first-rounders in the books.

The 21-year-old Alabama product is coming off of surgery to repair a gruesome ACL tear he sustained during the College Football Playoff game this year. Williams is reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery and is expected to be ready for training camp ahead of what the Lions are hoping is a huge rookie season for them.
