Jaguars vs. Bills: Dawuane Smoot, Parker Washington, Christian Braswell Ruled Out
USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced their official injury status report for Sunday's tilt vs. the Buffalo Bills, with four players listed out and four others listed as questionable.

Linebacker Devin Lloyd (thumb), outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot (Achilles), wide receiver Parker Washington (knee), and cornerback Christian Braswell (hamstring) are all listed as out.

Defensive lineman Foley Fatukasi (shoulder), safety Antonio Johnson (hamstring), wide receiver Jamal Agnew (quad), and wide receiver Zay Jones (knee) are listed as questionable.

“Starting with Jamal [Agnew] and Zay [Jones], the guys that missed last week, both of those guys have had a really good week of preparation and practice. Right now, optimistic that they’ll play in this game," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday.

"Antonio Johnson, who has missed with his hamstring injury, is doing well. He practiced this week, so barring any setbacks, look for him to be up and active this week."

As for Jones, who has missed the last two weeks with a knee injury that he sustained in Week 2, is set to return in Week 5.

“I think so, I think Zay will be a go. He had a good week, barring anything coming out of today’s practice with treatments later on, hopefully no setbacks, knock on wood. He should be fine," Pederson said.

As for Smoot, who had his 21-day window to return from the PUP list open earlier this week, a solid week of practice does not mean an immediate return in Week 5.

“Smoot has looked really well. We opened his window this week and he’s looked really good. Probably don’t anticipate him playing in this game, but he’s really close," Pederson said.

"We’re optimistic maybe next week that he’ll be ready to go. Had a really good week, he gave Anton [Harrison] a great look this week on the look team, that’s what we needed out of Smoot, and he did a great job.”
