Head coach Andy Reid shares a different take on the Kansas City Chiefs being called a dynasty

No one is any longer denying that the Kansas City Chiefs are a dynasty now due to what they have done in the last seven years. When you think about the three Super Bowl wins in five years alone, it's enough to label them a dynasty, and the other years where they have never missed an AFC Championship is just the cherry on top.

The Chiefs do not look like they are slowing down anytime soon, either. The last two years were supposed to be their down years, as the year before Tyreek Hill left, and this last year, they had their worst regular season since Patrick Mahomes has been the quarterback, yet it ended as one of their best seasons.

Going into 2024, they already have a roster that can compete. There are holes to fill, but if the Chiefs have taught us anything, you cannot count them out, which is how most dynasties go. However, Andy Reid takes a different approach when it comes to the whole dynasty.

"It's up to you to do the dynasty thing," Reid said at the Annual League Meetings. "I'm back to training camp and the meat and potatoes kinda thing. That's where I go. I make sure the guys are back in shape. And that's where we'll roll… Every year in the NFL is a new year. Every team is a different team. Don't get caught up in too much of the fluff. "
