Former Cleveland Browns wideout Ryan Switzer is going to the college ranks to begin his college coaching career. According to a report, Switzer is heading to join Kevin Wilson's staff at the University of Tulsa to be the next wife receivers coach.

The interesting thing about the report is Wilson, who came from over from Ohio State, sees some Brian Hartline kind of potential in Switzer. Hartline is one of the best recruiters in the country, and there haven't been any better at developing wide receivers as of late.

Switzer spent the majority of his time with the Browns' practice squad in 2020 and 2021, never appearing in an actual game. Switzer was a fourth-round draft selection by the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 out of North Carolina. His best season came in 2018 when he caught 30 passes for 252 yards as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before the 2022 season, Switzer decided to call it a playing career at age 28. Now, he looks to be chasing a career in coaching.
