Former Auburn wide receiver Anthony Schwartz signs with the Miami Dolphins practice squad

Former Auburn wide receiver Anthony Schwartz was with the Cleveland Browns for many years before finally being released by the team earlier this year.

The Miami Dolphins just signed Schwartz to their practice squad, adding more speed to the fastest team in the NFL.

The Dolphins feature wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, plus running backs Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane.

These guys are some of the fastest players in the entire NFL, and they happen to all be on one team.

That is how Head Coach Mike McDaniel likes to run his football team, and adding Schwartz just makes the league's fastest team faster.

Schwartz was taken 91st overall by the Browns in the 2021 NFL Draft, but his time with the Browns didn't go as planned.

Now that the Dolphins came calling, it will give the former Auburn Tigers another shot to make a name for himself in the NFL.

The argument could be made that Schwartz is the fastest player on the Dolphins, which says a lot about him, and if this is true, McDaniel needs to find a way to use his speed.

Hopefully, at some point, Schwartz will be signed to the active roster, and we will see him back on an NFL field.

Only time will tell if this move works out for Schwartz, but he is in the best spot possible to utilize his skillset.
