Former Alabama DB Ha Ha Clinton-Dix believes freshman DB career will be special

Former Alabama football safety and Crimson Tide staffer, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix loves what he is hearing from freshman defensive back, Zavier Mincey. 

Mincey is a 2024 four-star defensive back, who signed with the Crimson Tide and announced his decision at the All-American Bowl. After he announced his decision, Mincey was asked about his feelings towards playing early. 

“I would definitely love to play early, but really I’m just looking to develop and just become a better player,” Mincey answered.

This response got a positive reaction out of Clinton-Dix. 

“I love this young man already. He is going to be a great player for us. His character and chill demeanor will make his career special,” the former Alabama safety posted.
