Chiefs defender shares troubling update on recent injury

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi shared a troubling update on a recent injury he sustained in the first quarter of the team's playoff win vs. the Miami Dolphins.

On Saturday, Nnadi posted a picture of his injured arm/tricep on his Instagram story with the caption "Everything happens for a reason. God's work."

Of course, Nnadi's post could mean several different things, but the fact that he is in a wrap/cast means that his injury is bugging him just one day prior to the Chiefs' divisional round matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Nnadi has already been ruled out for that game, but his post could suggest that he might be out for longer. If the Chiefs win Sunday, they would advance to the AFC Championship Game to be played on January 28. The team would certainly need as many talented players as possible in that contest, and that includes Nnadi.

Nnadi is in his sixth season with the Chiefs and has been a consistent run-stuffer over the past few years. Nnadi has 30 tackles and a sack this season, playoffs included.
