The Chicago Bears got themselves a shiny new toy in front of the world on Thursday night. Quarterback Caleb Williams has been a Bear for less than 24 hours and he's already breaking records.

Caleb Williams Best-Selling Jersey

According to NFL Insider, Adam Schefter, Caleb Williams's No. 18 Chicago Bears jersey became the top-selling draft-night item across any sport in Fanatics' history.

Overnight, the Bears made history and so did new quarterback Caleb Williams. Announced late Thursday night, Williams will don the number 18 on the Chicago Bears — most recently worn by tight end Robert Tonyan and receiver Dante Pettis but most well-known for fellow quarterback, Kyle Orton.

As Schefter points out, Williams broke the Fanatics record for draft-night merchandise sales across all sports. The record was set not even two weeks prior by Caitlin Clark, whose Indiana Fever jersey sold out almost every size in just one hour.
