It felt like the Miami Heat couldn't miss in Game 2 against the Boston Celtics.

The Heat made it rain from downtown in a 111-101 victory, making a franchise-playoff-record 23 three-pointers. According to Justin Turpin of WEEI-FM in Boston, Miami tied for the third-most made three-pointers in NBA Playoff history.

Miami small forward Caleb Martin nailed the Heat's final three with 2:58 remaining in the fourth quarter, thwarting a Celtics' comeback attempt. Boston had cut the deficit to 102-96 before this play.

This was an imperative victory for the Heat. Now, the series is tied at 1-1, and they're gaining momentum before they host Game 3 on Saturday.

More importantly, Miami proved it can win without star forward Jimmy Butler, who's expected to miss this series with an MCL sprain, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Last season, the Heat shocked the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, winning in seven games. Even though Boston finished with the league's best record (64-18) in the regular season, could Miami do it again?
